sourdough discard pizza crust

only 4-ingredients / NO YEAST needed

here’s what you’ll need:

  • 200g sourdough discard

  • 280g room temp filtered water

  • 580g unbleached white flour

  • 20g sea salt

don’t have sourdough starter? in a separate bowl, mix together:

  • 100g unbleached white flour

  • 100g whole milk

  • 7g baking powder

*make sure you mix this together in a separate bowl, then use in-place of the sourdough discard for the recipe!

DIRECTIONS

  1. using a scale, measure out 200g of sourdough discard (or the alternative option) in a mixing bowl.

  2. add 280g of room temperature filtered water & give it a good mix.

  3. using the scale again, measure out 20g of corse pink himalayan or sea salt, in a separate bowl.

  4. into the mixing bowl, add in 580g of unbleached white flour & your 20g of salt.

  5. let it mix for 2-3 minutes.

  6. place the dough in a separate bowl, cover, and let sit for 4-6 hours.

  7. after that, go ahead and flatting in pan (I used a baking stone), and add your toppings of choice.

  8. I used…Rao’s pizza sauce, cooked hamburger, turkey pepperoni, peppers, cheese, dried oregano, chili flakes, & garlic powder

  9. bake in the oven at 450 degrees for 25-minutes.
