When most people think about a salad, I feel like they picture the typical restaurant side salad, consisting of merely a couple grape tomatoes, maybe some shredded carrots, and two garlic croutons atop some soggy and white iceberg lettuce. I personally find this to be an insult, leaving the average person to assume that they hate salads due to this pathetic imitation of what nourishing your body in a “healthy” way looks like. I say “healthy”, because health is so unique to everyone. Nonetheless, salads can be fun, creative, tasteful, unique, and exactly what YOU want them to be.
